OBJETIVOS Y METODOLOGÍA

A través de este proyecto queremos que nuestros alumnos sean capaces de:Conocer mejor su herencia cultural y aquella de los países socios.

Presentar su colegio, ciudad y características de la zona en la que viven a los socios europeos.

Compartir información sobre los oficios tradicionales de su región.

Descubrir cuáles son las habilidades y competencias clave para desempeñar estos oficios.

Descubrir por qué algunos de estos oficios han sobrevivido y otros, sin embargo, quedan obsoletos.

Aprender sobre antiguas técnicas y nuevas tecnologías.

Descubrir oficios viejos u olvidados en sus países y en los de los países socios.

Desarrollar la autonomía personal.

Promover la idea de asociación europea.

Darles la oportunidad de aprender nociones básicas sobre algunos idiomas de la Unión Europea.

Mejorar su competencia lingüística en inglés.Queremos enfatizar:La dificultad y las posibilidades de encontrar trabajo en tiempos de crisis.

La importancia de aprender inglés como una lengua franca o vehicular.

Las variadas condiciones laborales en los países europeos.

Las diferencias culturales entre los países que conforman Europa.

La necesidad de adaptabilidad y flexibilidad dentro del mercado laboral.

El valor y los beneficios de una rigurosa formación profesional .

Las oportunidades que ofrece la artesanía hoy.La idea del aprendizaje permanente y la necesidad de actualizar las propias destrezas y habilidades.

Pretendemos conseguir los objetivos anteriores a través de:Uso de diferentes métodos de recogida de información: Internet, bibliotecas, archivos, etc.

Recogida de materiales de aquellos oficios artesanales típicos de cada región.

Visita de museos locales, oficinas de turismo, etc.

Visita a talleres artesanales.

Entrevistas con artesanos, representantes de diferentes gremios, clientes, etc.

Trabajos manuales prácticos (especialmente durante las movilidades)

Realización de presentaciones Power Point.

Intercambio de datos y resultados a través de Internet y durante las movilidades.

Colaboración en equipos internacionales.

Comparación de los resultados con los de sus socios durante las movilidades utilizando distintos medios de presentación.

Creación de talleres para producir determinados objetos.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES AND STRATEGY

We want our students to:

-gain more knowledge of their cultural heritage and that of their partners;

-present their school, town and landmarks of their home region;

-share information about predominant skilled trades in their region;

-learn about vocational training then and now;

-discover decisive skills and key competences;

-find out why some trades have survived and others became obsolete;

-learn about old and new technologies;

-discover old and/or forgotten trades in their own countries as well as in the partner countries;

-develop their autonomy;

-promote the idea of European partnership;

-give them the opportunity to learn the basics of some European languages;

-generally improve their English language skills.

We want to address:

-the difficulty and possibilities of finding work in times of crisis,

-the importance of learning English as a lingua franca,

-the various working environments in European countries,

-the intercultural differences existing within Europe,

-the necessity of adaptability and flexibility in the job market,

-the value and benefits of thorough vocational training,

-the opportunities to use craft skills today,

-the idea of life-long learning and updating of vocational skills.

We want to achieve these objectives by supporting our students to:

-use different means of research such as the internet, libraries, archives,

-collect material on the selected typical skilled trades of their region,

-visit local museums, tourism offices, etc

-visit and describe workshops,

-carry through interviews with craftsmen, representatives of guilds, customers, etc

-use and train practical manual skills (especially during mobilities),

-make PowerPoint presentations,

-exchange and share data via the Internet and during mobilities,

-collaborate in multinational teams,

-compare their results with their partners during the mobilities by using different presentation tools,

-run workshops on how to produce a certain item.
